Afterwards we made an attempt to buy doughnuts from Krispy Kreme. However, they had closed ten minutes before we got there. My friend Jen made a valiant attempt as she sat in front of the store and honked the horn. When the getleman inside picked up the phone we departed in fear he was contacting the police. Maybe Krispy Kreme will find a home in Topeka soon.
