A Spring Break Tale

This is the tale of a young boy, who upon arriving at the local pond sees a very intriguing site. Guppies! Lots and lots of guppies! Their size, speed, and beauty are tempting to the eye and he cannot resist the desire to have one of his own.

This is the boy.

He searches in vain for the ideal location to catch his guppy. There must be a place at this pond that is not muddy and the water clear, where the guppies remain perfectly still so that he can carefully scoop one out with his pristine net and gently place it into a bucket of water that is absolute heaven for guppy kind. This spot has yet to be found.

A very attractive blond walks by. Upon seeing the plea for help in the young boy's eye she valiantly attempts to help.

Ewwwww.

The children did not realize that guppy catching was such a messy business. They clean themselves up and look for other options.

A decision is made and a request issued. The older, more experienced guppy catchers are now on the scene devising a plan to capture the elusive guppy.

The children do what that can to preserve their clothing from any wetness or dirt. At all times they are thinking of the support staff who supply them with the unnecessary and unappreciated clean clothing for their daily quest.

Poised and ready for the capture of a prized guppy.

A brave soul who sacrafices her personal cleanliness for the cause. It's time to get serious and get that boy a guppy!

SUCCESS! However, the children must remain focused and intent. They most focus on every move of each guppy caught. Although small, the guppy still possess the slime/wiggle scare factor. At the first escape attempt the children must scream and slightly freak out. A scene they try to avoid at all cost.

It's a little known fact that, after the trauma of being caught, guppies appreciate a good massage.

It's nice to have the real story as to how all those dirty clothes came home from the pond.
